A lot of people mistake transition for regression.
They move.
They change jobs.
A relationship shifts.
A season ends.
And suddenly they feel like they're back at square one.
But most of the time, that's not true.
Your environment changed.
You didn't.
The gifts God gave you are still there.
The lessons you learned are still there.
The character He developed in you is still there.
The relationships you built still matter.
The growth still counts.
When a new season begins, it can feel disorienting because the routines and structures that gave you confidence are gone.
But don't confuse unfamiliarity with starting over.
You are not rebuilding from scratch.
You're building from experience.
One of the most helpful things you can do during transition is revisit what you already know to be true.
Who has God created you to be?
What strengths has He given you?
What values matter most?
What has He already taught you?
The answers haven't disappeared.
You're simply learning how they fit into a new season.
The goal isn't to become someone new.
The goal is to faithfully bring who God has already shaped you to be into what He's doing next.
This Week's Challenge
Take five minutes today and write down three things God has already taught you that you'll carry into your next season.
You are not starting from zero.
You're starting from experience.
