What You Believe Shapes How You Live
What you believe
shapes how you live.
It shapes how you show up.
The decisions you make.
The risks you take.
And the ones you avoid.
A lot of people
want clarity on where they are going.
But you cannot figure out where you are going
until you know who you are.
Identity comes first.
And identity has two parts.
Who you are in Christ.
And how God uniquely designed you.
First
who you are in Christ.
You are a deeply loved
son or daughter.
That is not something you earn.
That is something you receive.
And if that is not settled
everything else becomes shaky.
Because you will try to perform
for something
you already have.
Second
how God designed you.
He knit you together
on purpose.
Your personality.
Your gifts.
Your passions.
Your experiences.
None of it is random.
You are one of one.
There has never been you before.
There will never be you again.
And that is easy to say.
But if you really sit with it
it is mind blowing.
God has never had
a son or daughter like you.
That is why He is so in love with you.
So it matters
what you believe about yourself.
Because your beliefs
become your behaviors.
If you believe you are not enough
you will play small.
If you believe you are behind
you will rush and force things.
If you believe lies
you will live limited.
But when you believe truth
you live differently.
You show up with confidence.
With peace.
With purpose.
Now here is the reality.
This is not a one time breakthrough.
This is a process.
You will grow in this.
You will mature in this.
You will move from clarity
to deeper clarity.
From breakthrough
to deeper breakthrough.
And yes
sometimes old thoughts come back.
Old doubts.
Old lies.
That does not mean you failed.
It means you get another opportunity
to choose truth.
To remind yourself
who God says you are.
Because lies lose power
when they are exposed to truth.
And truth
sets you free.
So do not rush this.
Lean into it.
Because when your identity is clear
your direction becomes clear.
And when your direction is clear
you can move with confidence.
This Week’s Challenge
Pay attention to your thoughts this week.
What are you believing about yourself
When something feels off
pause and ask
Is that actually true
Replace the lie
with what you know is true.
That is how change begins.
