Unique and Needed
Your calling is unique. And it is needed.
If you really knew who you were created to be,
you would never want to be anybody else.
That is not hype.
That is truth.
There has never been you before.
In the history of ever.
Let that land for a second.
We say things like that all the time.
We say them to our kids.
We hear them repeated so often that they lose their weight.
But this one matters.
No one has ever lived your life.
No one has your wiring.
No one has your story.
And no one will ever replace the role you were created to play.
That means something.
Your calling is not generic.
It is specific.
And it is needed.
God gave all of us a shared calling.
To love.
To serve.
To reflect Him in the world.
But the way you live that out
the way you express it
the way you carry it
That part is uniquely yours.
Only you can do it that way.
So how do you discover it?
How do you live it?
You go to the author and designer of your life.
If you want to understand the plan,
you go to the one who wrote it.
The one who knit you together.
The one who knows every detail.
Becoming who you were created to be happens in partnership with Him.
I call that The Called Life.
The Called Life is not just about work.
It is not just about career.
It is holistic.
It includes who you are at work.
And who you are at home.
As a spouse.
As a parent.
As a leader.
As a servant.
Every part of your life matters.
Your life becomes a living testimony.
And one of the greatest testimonies you can offer
is becoming more and more of who God created you to be.

Take time to sit with this question.
Who am I becoming?
Not what am I doing.
Not what am I producing.
Who am I becoming in partnership with God?
Ask Him.
Listen.
And start leaning into the person He designed you to be.
