The Permission Problem
Do you feel like you need permission?
Have you ever had a dream in your heart that lights you up,
but at the same time makes you feel stuck?
Like you want to go after it.
But something inside you says,
“I cannot.”
“I should not.”
“I need permission.”
That is what I call the permission problem.
You are grown.
You know you do not actually need permission.
And yet, you still feel stuck.
You still hesitate.
You still hold back.
I know that feeling well.
For a long time, I felt like chasing what was in my heart was irresponsible.
I felt like an impostor.
Like who am I to do that?
I was afraid of failing.
Afraid that if I tried, I might not win.
So if this is you, let me say this clearly.
You are not alone.
And you are not broken.
A lot of people struggle with this.
And today, we are going to get some breakthrough.
I am going to stand in the gap for you right now.
I am going to be that voice.
You have permission.
You have permission to chase the dream in your heart.
Not recklessly.
Not irresponsibly.
But intentionally.
With wisdom.
With partnership.
With strategy.
You can gather information.
You can plan well.
You can involve the people who matter.
And still hold a deep resolve in your heart that you are going after this.
Here is why this matters.
That desire in your heart is not random.
It is not silly.
It is not selfish.
God put it there.
He knit you together with purpose.
The things that excite you and make you come alive are part of his design.
When you pursue that calling,
you are actually becoming more of who God made you to be.
And when you start living that way, something powerful happens.
You feel more peace.
More purpose.
More joy.
But it does not stop with you.
Your life becomes a light.
Other people see your freedom.
They see your authenticity.
And they start believing it is possible for them too.
That is impact.
This Week’s Challenge
Get clear on the thing in your heart.
Name it.
Articulate it.
What is the dream?
What excites you?
What makes you come alive?
Then take the next easiest step toward it.
Not the biggest step.
Not the scariest step.
The easiest one.
A step you cannot fail.
A step that builds momentum.
Then take the next easiest step.
And the next one after that.
That is how courage is built.
That is how momentum is created.
And that is how you start moving your life toward who you were created to be.
Now let’s go win the week!
