Clarity Creates Confidence
Clarity creates confidence
Most people are terrible at self reflection.
Not because they do not care.
But because they are busy.
Overwhelmed.
And constantly moving.
We rarely slow down long enough
to pay attention to what is happening on the inside.
And that is where clarity gets lost.
One of the simplest ways to gain clarity
is self reflection.
There are a few questions that help unlock it.
When do I feel most alive?
What am I doing when that happens?
What do people regularly ask me for help with?
What compliments do I hear over and over again?
Those questions matter.
They are breadcrumbs.
They point you toward how you were designed.
Toward what you uniquely bring to the world.
Toward the kind of impact that makes you come alive.
The second part is asking other people.
Not just anyone.
Trusted people.
People who know you.
People who will tell you the truth.
Ask them simple questions.
When have you experienced me at my best?
What do you think I am really good at?
Here is what is really cool about this.
Most of the time
they just confirm what you already knew.
They do not give you brand new information.
They give you a clearer picture.
A different angle.
And clarity does something powerful.
It creates confidence.
When you know what you are great at
you start making better decisions.
At work.
At home.
In your relationships.
You look for opportunities that let you do more of that.
You show up differently with your spouse.
You love your kids with more intention.
You lead people with more confidence.
And here is the unexpected bonus.
When you get clear on your own calling
you become curious about everyone else’s.
You want other people to experience the same freedom.
The same peace.
The same joy.
That is how impact starts.
Some of it is what you say.
Most of it is how you live.
This Week’s Challenge
Take time to reflect.
Ask yourself the questions.
Then ask one or two people you trust
how they experience you at your best.
Pay attention to what comes up.
That clarity matters more than you think.
Now let’s go win the week!
