Calling Confusion
A lot of people feel called.
They feel stirred.
They feel like there is more.
But almost immediately
confusion shows up.
What exactly am I supposed to do
How do I turn this into something real
What is the plan
And confusion keeps people stuck.
When it comes to calling
most people are waiting
for a lightning bolt of certainty.
God just tell me exactly what to do.
Give me the full blueprint.
Show me every step.
But that is rarely how it works.
Here is what I have learned.
Clarity of direction matters more
than certainty of outcome.
Because if you are waiting for certainty
it will probably never come.
But clarity of direction
creates courage to act.
When you know where you are going
you can move.
When you move
you develop competence.
And when you develop competence
you gain confidence.
Reps build belief.
If God gave you total certainty
you would not need faith.
And you would not need Him.
Instead
He gives next steps.
He gives clarity
not control.
He invites you to move with Him.
To listen.
To act.
To grow.
Yes your vocation matters.
Yes your gifts matter.
Yes your passions matter.
But your deeper calling
is to love God
love others
and become more like Christ.
That is why He does not hand you the whole plan.
He is not just building your future.
He is building relationship.
This is the better path.
And here is what should light a fire in you.
You are one of one.
There has never been you before.
There will never be you again.
Your wiring.
Your story.
Your grace gifts.
They are unique.
And they are needed.
You are the only one
who can live out your calling
the way God designed you to.
So stop waiting for a lightning bolt of certainty.
Take the next step.
